Living in Puncak Alam

Neighbourhoods, transport, amenities and typical prices in one of the most affordable townships near Shah Alam.

Last updated: 16 Oct 2026

Bandar Puncak Alam is a fast-growing township in the Kuala Selangor district, about 20 km north-west of Shah Alam. It grew around the UiTM Puncak Alam campus and its teaching hospital, and now includes townships such as Alam Suria, Eco Grandeur, Bandar Hillpark and LBS Alam Perdana. Landed homes here cost far less than in Shah Alam, which draws first-time buyers and young families, while UiTM keeps rental demand steady.
