Klang is Selangor's royal town and the gateway to Port Klang, the country's main seaport. Around the old town centre on the Klang River sit large newer townships such as Bandar Botanic, Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Bandar Bukit Raja and Kota Bayuemas. Prices are generally lower than in Shah Alam or Petaling Jaya, landed homes are easier to find, and the LRT3 has made the commute into Shah Alam and PJ much simpler.
